Rouh Al-din Suggests Retirement To 54 Ministry Employees

According to Article 76 of the civil service system, Dr. Hamad Rouh Al-Din, Minister of Information and Culture, has issued a directive requiring all staff at the Ministry of Information to retire when they have completed their service.

54 employees have been referred for retirement, according to local Arabic newspapers, and Rouh al-Din's decision is intended to pump new blood into the company. During his tenure as minister, he has taken several decisions, including referring some undersecretaries to retirement and rotating senior officials to enable them to take on the responsibilities.

According to the sources, the Minister has been working to modernize the media system in line with the global perspective and future expectations.
