Return To Work According To Strict Preventive Measures And Implementation Of Work Electronically

Undersecretary of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Oil Sheikh Dr. Nimer Fahd Al-Malik Al-Sabah affirmed the ministry’s keenness to follow the strictest precautionary health measures for the safe return of employees to work again within the second stage of the stages of gradual return to normal life in the country.


Sheikh Nimer Al-Sabah said in a press statement today, Tuesday, that the number of working hours during the second stage of the gradual return plan for work has been determined to be 4 hours, as the official working hours in the ministry will start from 9 am to 1 pm during the days of the week from Sunday to Thursday.


He pointed out that only those whose names are mentioned in the schedules of those assigned to work or whoever is determined to be exempted from working statements or attending the workplace are not allowed.
He stated that all organizational units in the ministry must in all cases not exceed the number of employees in a single day for more than 30 percent of the total number of employees in a single building, provided that the supervisors’ time (manager – supervisor – department head) should be on all days of the week.
He indicated that the plan for the return of workers in the Ministry of Oil was prepared according to the plans drawn up by the Council of Ministers and the Civil Service Bureau and distributed before the employees started their work via e-mail and the Ministry’s social media platforms.
He added that all employees were obligated to socialize, wear masks and adhere to them according to Law (No. 83 of 2020) issued by the Ministry of Health.
He stated that the procedures for organizing work within the Ministry of Oil impose holding meetings through the (Microsoft Teams) program, preventing regular meetings and identifying jobs that require presence in the office and the other that can be accomplished remotely so that employees are assigned in proportion to the nature of their work and reduce assembly in the ministry building as well It prevents receiving visitors from abroad.
He stated that during the period of business interruption, the Ministry of Oil succeeded in developing the work system into a smart electronic, where all the departments of the Ministry, monitors and departments worked on electronic communication for coordination and follow-up using modern communication systems.
He explained that the ministry worked during that period to update the system of electronic correspondence and transactions, as it had a smart system that includes the application of all business through a highly developed electronic system, as the system enables the completion of all work through the application of the Ministry’s smart system at any time, anywhere and within 24 hours.
He pointed out that the ministry has been keen since the beginning of the crisis of the new corona virus in Kuwait to issue all circulars of the Cabinet and the Civil Service Bureau related to the crisis to employees and activate readiness plans in coordination with the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation and its subsidiaries and continuity in activating early warning and surveillance systems and updating the dealing plan in light of developments.
In another context, Sheikh Nimr Al-Sabah mentioned that the ministry’s slogan that it launched last February confirms that the national cadres are the oil of the future and it also comes to achieve the lofty vision of investing in the human element and the belief of the ministry in its young national cadres according to its future vision in human investment.
He stated that the slogan represents the word “oil”, which is the true wealth of the State of Kuwait and came in black to express oil and golden color to express gold and its luster, and came in the form of a torch carried by young cadres who have faith in human investment and that these cadres will represent the future oil.
