Return Of Mosques And Ramadan Centers To Pre-pandemic Days

During a meeting with assistant undersecretaries in the ministry, Farid Emadi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, determined how the ministry would prepare for Ramadan.

The Ministry of Awqaf has developed an integrated plan to receive the blessed month of Ramadan in all of its departments and fields. According to a local Arabic newspaper, Emadi said that the Ministry of Awqaf has prepared its plan for Ramadan after the Cabinet decided to let worshippers pray in mosques, and to organize lessons and lectures, to ensure that the holy month is held in an appropriate atmosphere.

Under Emadi's instructions, the assistant undersecretaries of the Ministry of Awqaf equipped all mosques and Ramadan centers equipped during the years preceding the pandemic using all of the resources available to the ministry.

As before the pandemic, Tarawih prayers will be held in mosques during the blessed month of Ramadan, as was typical. Finally, he stressed the Ministry of Awqaf's proactive approach in implementing all health requirements approved by the health authorities in order to ensure worshipers' safety and enable them to pray.
