Restaurants And Cafes Block Roads

In a letter forwarded to Kuwait Municipality, the Interior Ministry said the internal roads in Abu Al-Hassaniya suffer from traffic congestion due to vehicular density in the area; considering the presence of many commercial establishments such as restaurants and cafés which were licensed without conducting a traffic study as per the decision of the Cabinet, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The Traffic Engineering Department in the ministry disclosed that roads in Shuwaikh Industrial Area are congested, especially at night, for many reasons like the large number of vehicles that block the roads where cafés, restaurants and shops are located.
