Reservation Of Dispensary Appointments In July

The director of the central administration for primary health care in the Ministry of Health, Dr. Rehab Al-Watan announced the launch of the appointment appointment service to review the health centers of the Ministry of Health (dispensaries) next July.

Al-Watayan told Al-Jarida that after entering the link of the Ministry of Health website, the auditor will be able to book an appointment at a dispensary, and “Parkord” will present it to the health center receptionist.

She indicated that this service will come into effect soon in general practitioner clinics, chronic diseases and diabetes, and will include all primary health care centers in the country.

Al-Watyan stressed that work is underway and coordination is now underway to reopen specialist clinics in health centers soon, to serve patients and relieve pressure on hospitals in specialist clinics, including dermatology clinics, eyes, ENT, orthopedics and others.

In another area, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Mustafa Reda, an administrative decision to form a committee to investigate administrative abuses in the nursing services sector in Al-Sabah Medical Specialized Region, and disbursed unjustly allowances to some members of the nursing staff in the region.

The Ministry of Health announced in a statement that the committee headed by the Assistant Undersecretary for Legal Affairs is concerned with proposing the mechanism necessary to develop nursing services in the hospitals and centers of Al-Sabah Specialized Medical Center to avoid these abuses in the future.

On the other hand, Al-Razi Hospital and the Sheikhan Persian Orthopedic Center have done WhatsApp service to book outpatient appointments.

The hospital announced in a statement that the activation of this service came based on Ministerial Circular No. 68, which provides for the operation of outpatient clinics while adhering to health requirements, achieving the principle of physical distance and avoiding crowding.

He explained that this service will start from Sunday to Thursday from eight in the morning until one in the afternoon.

He called on the frequent patients to send a copy of the civil ID, the file number, the name of the treating physician and the phone number. As for the new patients, they should send the civil ID photo, transfer photo and phone number.

For his part, Ibn Sina Hospital did the same service to book appointments in all its centers, among them clinics Al-Babtain Center for Burns and Plastic Surgery, Al-Bahr Eye Center, Hamed Al-Essa Center for Organ Transplantation in the departments of Surgery and Internal Medicine, and the Kuwait Center for Radiosurgery.

The service was also activated in the nervous system unit, the pain clinic, the psychiatric clinic, neurosurgery, pediatric surgery, the neurosurgery unit, urology, and general surgery in the hospital.
