Reduction In Home Quarantine For One Week Proposed

With inclusion of Afghanistan in banned countries list has increased to 32. Currently home quarantine is 14 days the Ministry of Health is considering to reduce the quarantine for a period of one week. This proposal is currently being studied by the concerned authorities of the ministry.

On the other hand, the sources clarified that the Ministry suspended salaries of some medical personnel who are stranded abroad due to voluntarily delaying their return to Kuwait. They are considered as absent from work with no valid excuse although the ministry had taken initiative to get their stranded employees in an exceptional case.
