The Diwan also wished His Highness the Amir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and His Highness the Prime Minister Ahmad Al-Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah wellness and prosperity. According to Al-Rai daily, the Sharia Vision Authority meets at the Supreme Judicial Council to see the Ramadan crescent, while Kuwait is abuzz with preparations for the holy month.

To facilitate the movement of cars without problems, the Ministry of Interior has prepared a security and traffic plan. The Director of the General Traffic Department, Major General Youssef Al-Khadda, announced the development of an integrated plan to keep pace with traffic congestion on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan, indicating 400 security personnel and 200 police patrols have been pressed into service. Al-Khadda said, in a statement to Al-Rai that “the General Traffic Department has coordinated with the traffic directors in all governorates, and the plan has been prepared and implemented, through the deployment of traffic patrols and security men in the vicinity of central markets, cooperatives, and places that witness a high density of citizens and residents."
