Rainfall To Continue Across The Country

The Meteorological Department confirmed today, Friday, that the country will continue to be affected by rainy weather, amid a proliferation of low and medium clouds interspersed with cumulus clouds, which leads to sporadic rains of varying intensity and may be heavy in the southern regions.

The weather today will be partly cloudy to cloudy with chances of sporadic rain, light to moderate intensity, heavy and sometimes thunderstorm, especially in the southern regions of the country.  The forecast predicts chances of rain to continue during the night at different times in different areas of the country, with a decrease in the level of visibility sometimes.

It is expected that the daytime weather will be cloudy tomorrow, Saturday, with a chance of scattered light rain, and with the advancement of daylight hours, it will be moderate and sometimes thunderstorm in the southern regions. From Saturday evening until the early hours of Sunday morning, the weather will be cloudy with chances of scattered rain, light to moderate intensity, which may be heavy and sometimes accompanied by a thunderstorm.

By Sunday noon, the amount of clouds will decrease and the chances of rain are likely to gradually recede with a decrease in the level of visibility during the evening and early morning periods due to the formation of fog, which results in the country being affected by a weak surface depression that gradually deepens to be the largest effect from Saturday afternoon.
