Qualifications Of 25,000 Expatriate Engineers To Be Verified

The Kuwaiti authorities have unveiled plans to verify the academic degrees of thousands of expatriate engineers.
The Kuwait Society of Engineers (KSE) said that qualifications of 25,000 foreign engineers would be scrutinized to ensure their authenticity.
It announced that it would open soon a specialised centre to verify engineering academic degrees – a plan coordinated with the Kuwait Petroleum Company (KPC) and the Kuwait Manpower Agency.
KSE Chairman Faisal Al-Atal unveiled the plan following his meeting with KPC Chief Executive Officer Mohammed Al-Matiri.
