Public Works Receives Five Truck Parking Lots From The Municipality

The Ministry of Public Works has received 5 truck sites to park heavy-duty vehicles, according to the Kuwait Municipality. According to the source, the Municipal Council made many choices about the distribution of sites for truck parking, and finally, the list of those selected sites is as follows:

— A 500,000 square meter parking lot for trucks in Jahra Governorate, to the east of Abdali Road.

— A 500,000 square meter plot in the Ahmadi Governorate, east of Sulaibiya Road.

— A 500,000 square meter truck parking area is located in the Ahmadi Governorate (Mina Abdullah) on Wafra Road.

— A 500,000 square foot property in Jahra Governorate's Al-Liah neighborhood, west of Abdali Road

— A 500,000 square meter plot in the Jahra Governorate (Salmi Road), west of poultry farms

According to the source, the Cabinet decided to allocate the Ministry of Public Works to implement the infrastructure for truck parking in the governorates of the State of Kuwait in conjunction with the Finance and Interior Ministries at its meeting on May 4, 2009, in this regard. The source confirmed that these five sites were given to the Ministry of Public Works on October 18, 2009, that they fit the necessary requirements, and that the situation does not call for the issue of new decisions.
