Public Sector Salaries For March Deposited In Banks

Ministry of Finance has announced that the salaries of public-sector employees for the month of March have already been transferred to banks.

The early transfer has been made in view of the current situation that the country is going through, and is part of the commitment by Central Bank of Kuwait to ensure that all government employees receive their salaries on time.

The ministry has also assured everyone that the money available through ATM machines are sterile, clean and do not carry any viruses. The ministry pointed out that money deposited by customers are kept in bank coffers for a period of 14 days, which is the potential incubation period for the virus. It is then thoroughly sterilized by specialized personnel before being fed in ATM machines for disbursement.
