Public Prosecution Has Ordered The Kuwaiti Woman To Return Kd 117,000 Or Go To Jail

The Public Prosecution has ordered the detention of an unidentified Kuwaiti woman who works as a Professor in the Faculty of Higher Education because she got the job on the strength of forged certificates, reports Al-Qabas daily.

The daily added, the woman holds three degrees – a Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s and PhD. She admitted to acquiring the fake degrees from an Egyptian University with the help of an unidentified Egyptian who also helped her to get the documents accredited.

According to reports she has to return to the State Treasury 117,000 dinars – the money she has earned over four years – to be eligible for release on bail. The daily said, until she pays the money, she is sent to the Central Prison.
