Providing False Information On Online Shopping Website Will Land You In Legal Issues
Residents who falsify their information while making reservations on the online shopping system during the times of the lockdown and receive a barcode on false information will face legal action, reported Al Rai daily. Agencies monitoring the online system detected the manipulation by consumers while making reservations through the online system, and warned them that they can be punished under the jurisdiction of the law.
The daily reported an illegal action is entering a housing address to visit markets or certain co-ops in the area, by entering a number for a housing unit in the area they want to go to, but is not the address where they live.
The daily highlighted that once a number is registered at the time of reservation, it is saved as the residence of the person who made the reservation, and cannot be changed again. The wrongful entry was revealed after consumers called the numbers of the concerned authorities and demanded to change their residence housing number again, which may bring up legal measures against them.
The daily highlighted that many of the illegal actions undertaken by consumers of manipulating the housing unit number, in order to go to markets in other areas and return to their areas again, which violates the rules of the total lockdown to prevent movement outside the areas where the people reside.
All citizens and expats must abide by the rules of total prohibition, which does not allow movement from one area to another, and commitment to only visit the markets and coops available within each residential area, so as to not be in trouble with the law.
