Presence Of The Local Zubaidi On The First Day

on the first day of the opening of his hunting season, the fish market in the east of Zubeidi was scarce, due to the stoppage of lunges, parcels and fishing boats in the corresponding year and the absence of a large percentage of fishermen inside the country, which greatly affected the scarcity of the local fishing of Zubeidi.

The Kuwaiti Union of Fishermen confirmed that the presence of Al-Zubaidi in very small quantities is a natural product for several reasons, including the lack of boats and fishermen present in the marine arena.

While the Ministry of Commerce set the prices of the local zabeedi to not exceed one kilo of 10 dinars, many consumers flocked to the fish market to buy the local zabeedi, which was interrupted for a period of months, but only the importers found, expressing their dissatisfaction with the lack of local fish species that are considered the most Quality for the Kuwaiti table despite entering its seasons.

For their part, many of the owners of the stands said that the absence of auctions still negatively affects the presence of large quantities of fish, adding that the importer is taking over all kinds of market and cannot rely on the local in the current circumstances of his lack.

On the other hand, a group of owners of fish import and export offices told Al-Jarida that there is a trend to transfer fish auctions to the market designated for it in the irrigation area in the coming months, indicating that moving the fish auction market in a mixed-use area far from the sea is wrong.

They pointed out that the building was not equipped and it is “sprats” that are not suitable for offices, in addition to that they are not fully prepared to maintain the safety of fish, demanding that there is more space for fish auctions with the expansion of the current fish market.
