In its investigation into the finding of a body in the Salmi area, the Public Prosecution found that the victim had been sexually interacted with and murdered, and that the perpetrator was a Kuwaiti juvenile, and legal action was taken against him.
In a report from the Taima police station, an unidentified woman's body was found in Salmi, the prosecution said.
As part of the investigation process, the Public Prosecution interviewed the suspect at the scene and entrusted the Forensic Medicine Department with determining the cause of death.
It had been reported earlier that the woman found in Salmi was identified through her fingerprints and confirmed to be Filipino.
Moreover, the victim was reported absconding by the sponsor, and he was informed about the absconding.
