Ppa Director-general Suspended From Work For 3 Months

Minister of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Public Ports Authority (PPA), Dr. Abdullah Al-Salman has issued a ministerial decision to suspend from work the Director-General of the PPA Sheikh Yousef Al-Abdullah Al-Sabah for not more than three months in the face of investigations into some violations, Al Qabas reported

During the three-month suspension or until the investigations are completed by the committee formed by Resolution No 148 of 2021 completes its work (whichever comes first) the Director-General will be paid half his salary for the duration of the suspension period.
