A team from the Department of Public Hygiene and Road Occupancy of Farwaniya Municipality launched campaigns against hawkers and random pop-up markets that emerge during weekends in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area and spoil the beauty of the area, reports Al-Seyassah daily.

In a press release, acting Director of the department Saud Al-Harbi revealed that the campaigns resulted in the issuance of 16 citations, and confiscation of six truckloads of vegetables, fruits and used furniture. He affirmed that the aim of such campaigns is to clear all violations related to transgression of state and private properties in various areas throughout Kuwait.
