Police Arrested 12 Street Stunt Performers And Seized Their Vehicles
Securitymen, during a campaign they launched against reckless drivers in Kabad area, arrested 12 street stunt performers and seized their vehicles, says Al-Seyassah. According to security sources, when Public Security Sector of Ministry of Interior received information about a large crowd that gathered in Kabad area to watch stunt performances by some young reckless drivers during daytime (which clearly indicated they are not fasting), patrol teams were dispatched to the location. They arrested 12 reckless drivers and seized their vehicles. The sources affirmed that such campaigns against reckless drivers will continue, as they put the lives of decent people at risk through their activities. Security sources revealed that Sulaibiya securitymen launched an extensive security campaign during which they arrested a number of wanted individuals and violators of law including residency law, as well as seized seven vehicles and issued 43 traffic citations. These securitymen carried out the campaign at the entries and exits of the area, and arrested 19 individuals who did not have their civil IDs or any other identification documents, 14 violators of residency law, three hawkers, nine expatriates with expired residencies and an absconding individual. They also seized seven wanted vehicles and issued 43 traffic citations. The arrested individuals were referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action.
