Plan To Deport Residence Law Violators

The Ministry of Interior has equipped two schools in the Farwaniya governorate which will used to house violators of laws to facilitate the speedy expulsion from the country, local Arabic newspaper reported.

The two schools are equipped with sufficient medical staff and all the needs. This is in addition to some charity societies committees which have promised to help deport the violators.

The authorities are anticipating a ministerial decision allowing expatriates to leave the country with the possibility of returning to the country and exempting them from paying the fines. Ministry of the Interior is in the process of implementing extensive campaigns in which other military agencies will participate, local Arabic media reported. There are nearly 150,000 violators of different nationalities in the country.

The curfew period is an opportunity for the Ministry of the Interior to arrest residence law violators and stressed on the need for citizens to cooperate in the Ministry of the Interior campaigns to pursue this segment, which poses a threat to security due to the lack of fixed sources of income, report added.

The Farwaniya governorate has been chosen due its proximity to the Kuwait International Airport. The schools will be under the supervision of the Farwaniya Security Directorate.
