Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte Set To Visit Kuwait

The President of the Philippines Rodrigo Duterte is set to pay an official visit to Kuwait in the first week of December.

According to a high-level diplomatic source, the Amir of Kuwait Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah extended an invitation to President Duterte.

Al-Rai newspaper quoted the diplomatic source said that the new Philippine Ambassador to Kuwait would likely be designated before the planned visit. The two sides will also sign several agreements aimed at developing cooperation in different sectors.
