Peddlers Flee; Liquor Seized

 The Ahmadi police have seized 346 bottles of home-made alcohol from a mini bus, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, a police patrol on routine duty was a bus parked in a suburb of Mahboula in a suspicious manner and when ‘someone’ who was in the bus saw the police vehicle approaching, they escaped on foot.

When police checked the bus, they found the bottles of booze ready for sale. Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints from the bus to arrest the bootleggers.
