In his response to a report of British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) on the sale of domestic workers via social media, he stressed the importance of tackling the issues included in the report. Dr Al-Jafour revealed that those who prepared the report praised the Kuwaiti authorities for rapidly tacking the issues related to domestic workers at the end of the report. He stressed that the file of domestic workers was referred to PAM in April 2019, and legal procedures are being enforced to provide protection for domestic workers according to law No. 68/2015 as well as criminal procedures included in law No. 91/2013 concerning human trafficking.

Dr Al-Jafour said relevant legal actions have been taken concerning the two cases mentioned in the BBC report, adding that the cases are being investigated as per legal processes.
