Paafr Prevents The Import Of Horses From Some Countries

The Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAFR) issued a decision banning the import of horses from some countries affected by diseases, stressing that no consignments coming from those countries will be allowed to enter, Al Qabas reported.

The authority’s spokesman, Talal Al-Daihani, said in a press statement on Saturday that all dispatches that come to the country must be from countries free of horse-borne diseases.

Al-Daihani explained that these procedures have been put in place by the authority with the aim of preserving the equine family in Kuwait and protecting it from infections.
