Meanwhile, the President of the Kuwaiti Farmers Union, Abdullah Al-Dammak has appealed to His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled to reconsider the decision of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to set the prices of the Kuwaiti vegetable produce, in the face of the imported vegetables are allowed to raise the prices.

He mentioned that fixing prices in local produce is a positive aspect in the interest of the citizen, but in return, the Kuwaiti farmer must be treated fairly, as he faces difficulties that must be resolved by the ministry of commerce. It is not fair to prejudice his right as a citizen but deserves attention, and the prices of imported goods must be determined and monitored.
