Overcrowded Labor Examination Centers; Long Eid Holidays Added Insult To Injury
According to the Ministry of Health, workers at the other two labor examination centers in Shuwaikh and Jahra are having difficulty controlling a flood of expats eager to complete their transactions as the Ministry prepares to open a new one on the Mishref Exhibition Grounds.
According to the visitors, who spoke with a local Arabic newspaper, health officials should open the Mishref examination center immediately to ensure that their transactions are completed as soon as possible because current centers are becoming overwhelmed.
There is currently a great deal of pressure on the appointment booking system, which has contributed to a difficult time getting appointments to the testing centers, with the earliest available dates being after May 26. The procedure may not be completed by the expiration of the entry visa.
It has been reported that the prolonged Eid holidays had a negative impact on the completion of transactions and the completion of examination results, as well as an influx of high numbers of visitors during the morning period in comparison to the last days of Ramadan.
In light of the advent of summer and the accelerated pace of test results, they noted that this was the best solution for them.
They noted that some centers are experiencing stumbling blocks to completing transactions for reasons beyond their control sometimes, such as failures of the computer system for a limited time, It should be noted that time is extremely important to auditors, as well as those with them from expatriate workers in the country, who want to complete their examinations as quickly as possible, so as not to violate resident laws and to avoid financial penalties that can affect expatriates and sponsors alike.
