Opening Visit Visa, Family Visa For Some Special Categories
Arabic local newspaper Alqabas reported that The residency affairs departments in the country started the day before yesterday, issuing entry visas for “family joining, and tourist and commercial visits” to some residents with medical and educational specialties, based on the instructions of the Council of Ministers.
A security source said that during the past two days, a small number of visitors who meet the conditions for issuing entry visas, each according to his residence address in the civil ID, were received.
The source added that the residents who meet the conditions are divided into 3 sectors as follows:
First: the government medical sector
Allowing all medical personnel working in “Health – Defense – National Guard – National Petroleum Corporation” who meet the conditions for joining a family to bring their wives and children with a family entry visa.
Allowing the doctor and nurse to bring her children under the age of 16 with a visa to join a family according to the conditions.
Allowing the doctor and nurse to bring her husband on a tourist visit visa with the signing of a pledge not to convert to a residence permit.
Allowing female medical staff (other than the doctor and nurse) to bring their husbands and sons with the entry visa for a tourist visit only.
Allowing medical staff to transfer from a visit to joining a family, according to the applicable terms and conditions.
Second: The private medical sector:
Allowing female doctors and nurses working in private hospitals to bring their children under the age of 16 with a visa to join a family according to the conditions.
Third: The private educational sector:
Allowing heads of families working in the private educational sector who meet the conditions to bring their wives and children with a family entry visa.
In the event that the applicant has a domestic work entry visa in the educational sector and has not yet obtained a residence permit and wants to bring his wife and children, he is granted a commercial entry visa to the educational establishment issuing his work permit, with the need to undertake to bring the wife’s criminal record in preparation for converting the visit to establish a family.
Allowing female teachers working in the private sector to bring their husbands with an entry visa for a tourist visit, with signing a pledge not to transfer.
Allowing the director, assistant director, teacher, and specialist in the private sector to bring their children under the age of 16 with a visa to join a family, according to the conditions.
