Opening Of Visas To Kuwait Before The World Steps Into The New Year
The Public Authority for Manpower (PAM) has not retracted the decision of not issuing work permits to those who are 60 years and above for holders of high school diplomas and below, well-informed sources told Al- Seyassah / Arab Times daily. The decision is expected to be implemented at the beginning of the New Year 2021.
The sources pointed out that there is an understanding in many government agencies for this decision to be implemented and its impact on the demographics and adjusting it for the better in the long run, confirming that there is an understanding and cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry after the matter was presented to it.
With regard to opening work permits at the beginning of the New Year, the sources clarified that whether or not to open permits to bring in workers from abroad is due to the Health Committee of the Council of Ministers, which is authorized to determine the mechanism for opening the work permits, and it is assumed that there will be a decision in this regard before the world steps into the New Year.
