Online Renewal Of Article 17 And Transfer Of Temporary Residency To Permanent Residence

The residency affairs department will soon launch online renewal of government employees (Article 17) and transfer from temporary residency (Article 14) to permanent residence.

According to Al-Rai Arabic newspaper, two new services will be launched by next week, the first is transfer from temporary residence to the permanent of the residency, and the second is the renewal of residency of government employees in Article 17.

The report added that the authorities provides more than 450 thousand electronic transactions for each residence sector in Kuwait over the year. More than 70,000 residences for Article 18 and more than 43,000 residences for Article 22 have been renewed online since the online system launched, report added.
