Ongoing Security Campaigns Reduce Crime Rates In Kuwait - Moi

02 February 2016 Kuwait

Ministry of Interior (MoI) Undersecretary Lieutenant General Sulaiman Al-Fahad said on Monday that security campaigns that have been going on lately lead to reduction of crime rates and some negative phenomena in the country.

He added that enforcing the law is everyone's responsibility, with no exceptions, and should come along with right legal procedures for arrests. General Al-Fahad met with Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security, Major General Abdulfattah Al-Ali, and some MoI officials, discussing outcomes of the campaigns, the ministry's Security Media Department said in a statement.

Lately, MoI has been conducting a wide-scale security campaign, by increasing checkpoints and security patrols all over the country, arresting thousands of law offenders and fugitives, which had a huge impact and relief for everyone in the country.
