On A Street, A Man Abandons Four Brothers, Including One Who Is Disabled, Aged 3-7

An incident involving a man who abandoned his four brothers, aged between 3 and 7, on a street has shocked Kuwaiti citizens.

A differently-abled boy was among the four brothers aged 3,5,6,7.  

Reports in Kuwaiti newspapers said that a woman reported the matter to police after finding three children crying on a street in Al Ahmadi district. They told me they had lost their brother when enquired. 

Upon preliminary investigation, security sources revealed that the children's Kuwaiti mother was serving a prison sentence while their father was dead.

The Welfare Department in the Ministry of Social Affairs received two of the four children for a check-up at Al Adan Hospital.

In the case of the differently-abled boy, his mother asked the authorities to let him live with her.

He has been summoned by police for questions about why he left his fourth brother and where he went, police said.
