Officers Arrested An Indian For Violating Law And For Possession Of 73 Bottles Of Local Alcohol

Two officers from Farwaniya Security Command arrested an Indian for violating the law and for the possession of 73 bottles of local alcohol, reports Al-Rai daily.

While patrolling in Hassawi, the officers noticed the erratic movement of the vehicle so they signaled for the driver, an Indian, to pull over for routine inspection. When the officers checked the suspect’s documents, they found out that his residency permit has expired. Since he looked confused, the securitymen decided to search the car thoroughly and this led to the discovery of 73 bottles of alcohol.

The seized bottles of alcohol and the Indian were referred to the concerned security department for legal measures. He was also referred to the Residency Investigation Affairs Department for questioning and other necessary action.
