Number Of New Coronavirus Cases Doubled In January

The number of Coronavirus cases during the month of January has doubled when compared to the number of new infections in the month of December. The Health authorities have urged citizens and residents to adhere to health requirements and to avoid Social gatherings, Al Qabas reported.

A total number of 14,388 people have infected with coronavirus and  23 deaths died during  January, compared to 7,592 new infections and 53 deaths in December 2020.

According to health sources, last month 12 patients entering the intensive care unit (ICU) of public hospitals designated for Covid 19 patients, and the number of coronavirus patients in the ICU has reached 58.
