On the Website of Ministry of Interior, An Expat or Mandoub the representative of the company where the expat is working can fill out the form for renewing residency or obtain a visit visa online. So there will be no need of submitting printed application at immigration office residency renewal department.

In the new MOI online service, you have to fill in the all the data and verify them and then you will be getting a receipt, with the received receipts you can visit the concerned immigration residency  departments and complete the rest of the procedures physically.
