Normalization Of Ties With The State Of Israel Slammed
A number of political movements and blocs denounced the attempts made by some to promote normalization of ties with the State of Israel, reports Al-Qabas daily.
They affirmed their firm rejection of such calls, describing the statements issued by such individuals and personalities as irresponsible. During a meeting organized by Kuwait Lawyers Society in protest to the calls for normalizing ties with the Zionist entity, representatives of these movements and blocs said they have gathered in an effort to support the Palestinian cause. Representative of the Islamic Constitutional Movement Fahd Al-Failakawi praised the official stance taken by Kuwait in refusing to normalize ties with Israel, highlighting the tremendous efforts exerted to maintain the Kuwaiti tradition of supporting the Palestinian right.
Also, Secretary General of Kuwait Democratic Forum Bandar Al-Khairan insisted that the continued rejection of Kuwait in normalizing relations with the Zionist entity is considered a fantastic stance taken unanimously by all the people of Kuwait headed by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah from the time he was the Minister of Foreign Affairs until date, as well as the Kuwaiti sportsmen and sportswomen who refuse to play any matches or games with Israeli sportsmen and sportswomen.
