No Vaccine Is Preventing The Covid-19 Infection

28 May 2021 Coronavirus

Health sources reiterated the need to continue implementing health requirements and adhering to precautionary measures in the face of the “Corona” virus, because vaccination does not mean complacency or the inability to contract the virus.

The sources clarified that those who receive one or two doses of the vaccine are highly immune (more than 50 percent of those who receive the first dose and more than 90 percent of those who receive the two doses), but that does not mean that they cannot catch the disease or transmit the infection to others, Thus, the health requirements, such as wearing masks, washing hands, social distancing, and others, remain basic and necessary to protect everyone.

And she mentioned that the goal of vaccination is to reduce the symptoms of the virus if infection with it and to reduce as much as possible the transmission of infection, but the possibility of infection and death also remains, because there is no vaccine that protects 100 percent of the infection.

On the other hand, the campaign of mobile field units to be vaccinated with the “Covid-19” vaccine continued its work in vital facilities and sectors in the country.

Yesterday, the campaign aimed to vaccinate 8,000 workers at Kuwait Airport, Kuwait Airways, airlines and store workers at the airport.
