No Two Jobs Without Permission Muncipality

Kuwait Municipality has started preparing a list of its expatriate employees who are working in other jobs without the municipality’s authorization, reports Al-Rai daily quoting a reliable source from Kuwait Municipality. According to this source, about 133 expatriate employees from the financial and administrative sectors were discovered to hold other jobs besides their official work in Kuwait Municipality.

However, latest statistics indicate that the numbers are higher than this, due to which the concerned team is working on ascertaining the facts. He indicated that all expatriate personnel are under observation, revealing that the list, after it is prepared, will be submitted to the Director General of Kuwait Municipality Ahmed Al-Manfouhi for taking necessary decision in this regard.

The source affirmed that the municipality will not hesitate to take necessary action against any negligent expatriate employee, adding that immediate investigation will be opened. He said the municipality is planning to install CCTV cameras in all departments to follow-up the work and performance of its expatriate employees.
