Next Week, Non-vaccinated Expats Will Be Allowed Into Kuwait; Entry Requirements

Passengers entering Kuwait are classified into three groups according to a decision made by the Kuwaiti Cabinet. The decision applies to both Kuwaiti citizens and expatriates. Not fully vaccinated, non vaccinated, and fully vaccinated.

Kuwaiti citizens who obtained a single dose of the Covid vaccine or did not receive any vaccine approved by Kuwait have been classified as non-vaccinated. The passengers are allowed to enter Kuwait after undergoing a (PCR) examination 72 hours prior to their flight, stating they are not infected with Corona. Home quarantine will be required for a period of seven days after arrival, concluding with a PCR test on the seventh day.

Since the Ministry of Health has not yet approved the Covaxin vaccine, it will be a huge relief for the thousands of Indians who were still stuck in India after taking Covaxin.

If you have not taken the booster dose nine months after having taken your second dose, you are not fully vaccinated. PCR tests are not required before entering the country. Their quarantine period, however, is 7 days from the day of their arrival, but a PCR test may allow them to end the quarantine sooner.

In order to be fully vaccinated, a booster dose of the vaccine must be administered. Those who did not complete nine months after receiving two doses of the vaccine also fall into this category. Covid patients are also fully vaccinated if they recovered from the infection within the last three months. A PCR test is not required for fully vaccinated passengers. There is no need to quarantine them at home.

Additionally, the council encouraged all passengers arriving at the airport to conduct a rapid home examination if they are displaying any symptoms. Perform a PCR test if the test is positive.
