Nccal Executes Phase Two Of Book Cataloguing Project
The National Council for Culture, Arts and Letters (NCCAL) is executing phase two of the book cataloguing and classification project in public libraries as per directives from the Minister of Information in coordination with head of NCCAL Muhammad Nasser Al-Jabri and his secretary general Ali Al- Youha, says Assistant Secretary General for Culture at NCCAL Dr Essa Al-Ansari.
Supervisor General of Public Libraries at NCCAL Munir Al-Otaibi in a statement indicated the decision is being implemented at public libraries in Jaber Al-Ali, Qurain, Ardiya, in addition to Zakaria Al-Ansari Library, and Abdulaziz Al-Sarawi Library, noting about 60 thousand books are expected to be distributed among the public libraries after the cataloguing and classification process.
