Nazaha Refers Former Mpw Employees To Prosecution

The Public Anti-Corruption Authority ‘Nazaha’ said it has referred former employees of the Ministry of Public Works (MPW) to the Public Prosecution for causing ‘unintentional damage’ to public funds which is punishable under Article No. (14) of Law No. 1 of 1993 regarding the protection of public funds.

Nazaha affirmed it continues to collect evidence when it receives reports about suspicious activities and praised the efforts of whistleblowers who assist the authority.

At the same time Nazaha said it is committed to protecting them and maintain confidentiality of the reports in line with the law and executive regulations.
