Nazaha Investigating Suspicions Of Corruption In 37 Government Institutions

The Public Authority for Combating Corruption “Nazaha” revealed suspicions of corruption in 37 government agencies, noting that it had received 90 alerts until the end of December last year about suspicions of corruption in government bodies, Alkhaleej online reported.

This came in the annual report for the year 2020, which was published by the authority on its official account on “Twitter”, today, Sunday.

The report said that the Ministry of Health leads the institutions that have received reports of corruption suspicions with 11 reports, Alkhaleej reported citing an official report.

According to Alkhaleej, there were 4 reports against the Ministries of Electricity and Water, Kuwait Municipality, Interior, Works, and Education. Two complaints against each of the ministries of affairs, information, justice and finance, the Food Authority, and Civil Aviation.

Other reports being examined by the Anti-Corruption Authority covers the civil information, the Ministry of Oil, the Planning Council, the Investment Authority, the Financial Observers Authority, the Industry Authority, the Ports Corporation, the Youth Authority, and the Ministry of Trade and Industry.
