National Assembly Speaker Assures Citizens Of The Amir's Good Health

The Amir of Kuwait Shaikh Sabah Al Jaber Al Ahmed Al Sabah is in good health, said National Assembly Speaker Marzooq Al Ghanim.

He took to his Twitter account to assure the public about the Kuwaiti leader’s health, condemning allegations posted on social media websites.

“Claims posted on social media websites are immoral and heinous,” he said, adding that the Amiri Diwan had stated three days ago that Shaikh Sabah had recovered from a health setback.

He said that he meets the Amir daily, adding that all Kuwaitis want him to have a rest and recover fully.

Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Anas Al Saleh also dismissed online allegations as being “baseless and untrue”.
