National Assembly Agrees To Postpone The Repayment Of Loan Instalments

Today, the National Assembly approved a law to voluntarily defer the installments of citizens loans and referred it to the government, Al-Rai reported

The Minister of Finance, Khalifa Hamada, affirmed the government’s commitment to implementing the law by the legal frameworks and as soon as possible, expressing his hope for the implementation of these laws, He said “we hope to relieve the financial burden of citizens”.

Upon the start of the debate on the law, the Minister of Finance asked the Minister of State for Economic Affairs, Khalifa Hamadeh, to amend the text of the first article to provide an optional postponement of installments for those of the eligible citizens who wish to postpone.
