Mutant Coronavirus Strain In Kuwait, Quarantine Period To Continue For 14 Days

The mutated Coronavirus arrived in the country yesterday, through two female citizens coming from the United Kingdom. The quarantine of those coming from abroad scheduled for 14 days will continue without any change, Al-Rai reported quoting informed sources.

Sources explained to the daily that quarantine is one of the most important lines of defense that the Ministry of Health along with the continued ban of high-risk countries, the requirement for a negative examination certificate for arrivals, an immediate (PCR) examination at the airport for travelers, and genetic planning for the virus mutation and random re-examination.
