Murder Charge Filed For Assaulting Officer

Personnel from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) have arrested a Kuwaiti who had been sentenced in absentia to four years in prison. He was found guilty of assaulting a Sentences Enforcement Department officer while attempting to arrest him. He was arrested a few days ago in a suburb of Sulaibikhat. The security source added the Public Prosecution has filed a new charge of ‘attempted murder’ against the man.
