Municipality Of Al-faris Seeks To Hire Kuwaiti Engineers, Technicians

Dr. Rana Al-Faris, Minister of State for Municipal Affairs and Minister of State for Communications and Information Technology, is driving Kuwait Municipality toward a replacement policy that focuses on engineering and technical occupations.

According to Al-Rai, Minister Al-Faris "is pushing to promote Kuwaitization and increase the presence of Kuwaiti engineers in the Municipality, especially at a time when the number and size of projects in the Municipality are increasing and seeks to implement and complete these projects as soon as possible, and thus there will be a tendency to study dispensing with expatriate engineers working in the municipality," according to sources.
