Municipal Council Will Stop Insuring Car Park Sheds For 30 Dinars

Fahid Al-Muwaizri, the head of the Municipal Council's Legal and Financial Committee, said that the car park shed regulations and revisions to Municipal Law 33 of 2016 had been approved and referred to the Municipal Council.

In a statement to Al-Qabas, Al-Muwaizri said that after presiding over the committee's meeting to discuss the list of car cark sheds, it was decided to exempt real estate in private housing areas from paying car shed fees and cancelling the 30 dinar insurance fee, indicating that on investment and commercial buildings, the government will impose a one-time fee of one dinar per square metre and it will be licenced through the competent department.

The committee studied Municipal Law 33 of 2016 and resolved to refer it to the Municipal Council for debate in the main session, according to Al-Muwaizri.
