The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Public Works (MPW) Eng. Ismail Al-Failakawi issued a decision to terminate the services of 80 expat employees in the ministry, as of next March, Al-Anbaa reported.

Al-Failakawi explained that the ministry aims to implement a plan that would develop the ministry’s work mechanism and empower national cadres through the Kuwaitization and replacement plan that the ministry seeks to implement during the next phase.

He said those who are to be terminated work as consultants, accountants, and engineers, as well as those who work in the ministry on the provision of rewards and special contracts.

M. Al-Failakawi indicated that warnings and reports had been sent by the ministry as a legal procedure and that the ministry had sent a list of the names of 80 expat employees who had been dismissed to the service bureau to inform them of this, upon the request of the office.
