Mpw Sends Draft Budget Of 2019 -2020 To Finance

Assistant Undersecretary for Financial, Administrative and Legal Affairs at Ministry of Public Works Hamad Al-Ghareeb says the ministry recently referred the fourth chapter of the draft budget for the 2019/2020 fiscal year to Ministry of Finance, reports Al-Nahar daily.

On the sidelines of a symposium organized by the ministry to discuss the conditions to meet for occupying supervisory positions, Al-Ghareeb revealed that the ministry asked for the allocation of KD 840 million as expenditures for the projects being executed by various sectors of the ministry.

He indicated that the ministry asked for allocation of KD 400 million for the new international airport project. Al-Ghareeb stressed that the draft budget does not include items concerning Public Authority for Roads and Transportation (PART), as it has referred its own draft budget to the Ministry of Finance.
