Mpw Laid 100sq. Km Of Asphalt Within A Week

The Ministry of Public Works (MPW) carried out a maintenance operation between January 13 to 19th of January. During this operation, the ministry laid asphalt in 7 sites across various regions of the country.

The operation covered a total area of 99792 square meters, Al Anbaa daily reported.

The ministry said in a press statement that it carried out maintenance operations in seven locations: Rumaithiya, Sabahiya, Adan, Old Jahra, Suburb of Sabah Al-Salem, and Hattin Suburb, in addition to the coastal strip (Road 209), using 378 machines and cars that brushed asphalt.

The work carried out by the maintenance engineering sector was in response to a number of complaints by the citizens and residents.
