Mpw Gets Capt Approval For 4th Change Order In Tender Contract

The Ministry of Public Works has obtained approval from the Central Agency for Public Tenders (CAPT) for the fourth change order in the tender contract for the design, construction and maintenance of pedestrian bridges and bus stops in various parts of the country, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources. With this change order, the value of the contract signed with a construction contracting increased by KD453,000 or 14.030 percent; in addition to an extension of eight months for the design and construction of a pedestrian bridge on Fahd Al-Salem Street next to Jahra Gate, sources disclosed. Sources said the project includes pedestrian bridges connecting the following: Al-Nasr Club and Ishbiliya, Farwaniya and Khaitan on Road 55, Ardiya and Al-Salam Mosque, Ardiya and Al Mikhayal Mosque, Ardiya and Farwaniya Hospital, Khaitan and Al-Zahraa on Airport Road 50, Hatim and Al-Salam, and Waha and Jahra.
